Thank you to all that came out for the Second Annual Indiana Homeschool Science Fair and to Ivy Tech for being gracious hosts once again. This year we had the privilege of having volunteer judges from BSU’s Science Club.
This year we added an area for vendors to provide additional resources to participants as well as the numerous visitors we had come through. Next year we plan to add even more great vendors and science resources.
Jon Nichols of Homeschool Meeting Place and Berean Builders brought microscopes with prepared slides for visitors to look at as well as geology kits, dissection kits and other science related items. Of note, Jon has many of these items for rent at a low cost so you don’t have to purchase expensive items that you only use for a semester or so.
Erin Crandall of PaperPie was also one of our vendors. She brought dozens of great science related books, puzzles, activity kits and scientific toys. She was a great resource for many of our homeschool families that came through.
And last, but certainly not least, the participants all did a fantastic job of creating solid science projects and presenting them to our judges and any visitors that came through. Below are some of the great projects that the kids presented. We can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with next year for the 3rd Annual Indiana Homeschool Science Fair!
