Many homeschooling families choose to use online resources for their kids. Sometimes they use solely online homeschooling curriculum and sometimes they use a mix between offline and online curriculums. Our goal here at Local Homeschool Hub is not to promote one curriculum over another in most cases, but rather to give you as much information as possible on the curriculum options available. Some of these options will be faith based. Some will be secular. And some will be somewhere in the middle.
When we have personal experiences with curriculum or the company that provides the curriculum we will mention that. However, keep in mind that every family and every child is different and therefore the curriculum that works for your family or for each individual child may not work for our families or our kids. And that is okay. We will continue to update this list as we are able to access different online homeschool curriculums.

- Somewhat adaptive – puts students into tutoring mode if they miss too many items so they can work on that skill. Once skill is mastered they go back to the normal learning path.
- Unable to “skip” kids ahead to get through content they already know.
- Mixed reviews online.
- While StarKitty and Leopard Girl both enjoyed the math videos for Acellus and learned a lot, both families chose to move away from Power Homeschool/Acellus due to actions of the company founder toward parents.
- Local Homeschool Hub does not endorse this company. As with any curriculum, be sure to do your own research.
- If you choose to use Power Homeschool/Acellus we suggest going in regularly and keeping records of grades/lessons/classes for your student(s).

- Sarah has used Teaching Textbooks with Star Kitty. Star Kitty really liked it, but felt like there were too many practice questions with each lesson. Sarah likes that you can skip through the content to get your child where they need to be. This is especially beneficial if you are using TT as a supplement or if you have switched curriculum mid-year. Star Kitty liked that you could earn different backgrounds and stickers as you did each lesson.
