PaperPie Sitewide Discount Week of 5.13.24 to 5.19.24

PaperPie Sale

We are big fans of PaperPie books around here for building our homeschool library. Full disclosure, Sarah has recently become a brand partner purely because she wanted a discount on books for StarKitty and to be a resource to those in the homeschool community. Every now and then there will be a book or resource that PaperPie puts out that we may think is a great resource to homeschool families and we will then share it with our readers. We have provided a link to Sarah’s online store for those that are interested, but please know you are never under any pressure to buy from Sarah. You might already have a PaperPie brand partner you work with. Or maybe you want to find the books we recommend elsewhere, and that is perfectly fine. We just want to help homeschoolers however we can, so we will recommend what we like and you can do with it what you may. 🙂

With all of that said, PaperPie is having a sitewide discount sale this week, May 13, 2024 to May 19, 2024. Some titles are discounted as much as 60% off. This is a great way to add to your homeschool library.

Below are a few of our favorites you might want to check out for your kids:

Books for Baby to Preschoolers:

All Better – Kane Miller

This was a favorite for Star Kitty growing up. The sticker bandages are reusable and kids have a blast taking them in and out of the book and placing them on the various scratches and injuries the animals get.

B is for Bedtime

This has been my go to gift for new parents as it was a favorite of ours for many years. The pictures are beautiful and the rhyming is a soothing way to help kids wind down the day.

Nibbles: The Book Monster Series

The Nibbles series of books are so much fun. We have Nibbles: The Book Monster, Nibbles: The Monster Hunt and Nibbles: The Dinosaur Guide. This mischievous little monster nibbles his way into different books and gets himself into trouble in the process. Star Kitty loved this one when she was little, especially the dinosaur one. She still pulls these out from time to time.

Shine-a-Light Series:

This series is awesome for curious minds. With flashlight in hand kids love to discover the hidden mysteries in these books. Themes range from the human body, animals and the rainforest to construction sites, space and inventions. They also have the majority of this series in Spanish as well.

Early Reader Books

School of Monsters Series:

This series comes highly recommended by a friend with a young reader. Her daughter devours these books. They are full of vocabulary, tumbling rhymes and silliness. Early readers start by reading just the last word on every line and work their way up. School of Monsters also has a Learn and Play subseries that I wish I would have known about when StarKitty was learning to read.

Miss Molly Series:

Miss Molly does a great job of teaching kids about manners, kindness and confidence in a light hearted, fun way. StarKitty and I have read Miss Molly’s School of Manners while a friend has an early reader that loves the entire series.

Big Book of … Series:

There is a ton of knowledge for your curious kiddos in this series. We love the Big Book of Colors and the Big Book of Stars and Planets personally.

Lift the Flap Books:

StarKitty absolutely loved Lift the Flap books when she was an early reader. The sturdy flaps in these books keep kids exploring. They start off with simple questions such as Why Should I Get Dressed?, What Are Germs? and Why is it Dark at Night?

Upper Elementary and Older:

Academy Books:

The Academy series is amazing for homeschoolers. There are activity books for engineering, PaperPie Engineering Academyarchitecture, coding, cooking, veterinary medicine, entrepreneurship, and being a scientist.

Can You Escape the Museum:

This book and two other Escape Room books are interactive books. They are a great tool for your homeschool if you would like to teach your kids critical thinking, inference and how to solve puzzles.

Olivia’s Secret Scribbles and Ella Diaries

StarKitty loves the Olivia’s Secret Scribbles series. She even wrote a review on it that you can read here. Olivia is the little sister of Ella so many kids like to start with Olivia’s Secret Scribbles then move on up to read about her big sister Ella’s Diaries.

Homework Helpers:

There are several books and resources that fall in the Homework Helpers category. You can find Usborne Encyclopedias, Timelines of World History, several science resources and more. Of note, the Usborne Encyclopedias include links to online sources as well..

These are only a few of the hundreds of great books available through PaperPie. They also have a ton of puzzles, activity books and educational toys available. If you are looking for ways to expand your homeschool library, I highly suggest checking out PaperPie.
